Central Plant

Central Plant houses major centralized equipment such as the combustion turbine, chillers, boilers, and air compressors. The Central Plant is operational 24/7 and receives after-hours trouble calls. Services provided by Central Plant steam engineers include:

• Produce and distribute electricity via the combined heat and power cogeneration plant.
• Produce and distribute chilled water for cooling, high-temperature hot water (heating, industrial hot water, and steam generation), and compressed air to campus buildings.
