Custodial Cleaning

If you have questions regarding Custodial and Recycling Services, please contact the Facilities Management Service Desk, 949-824-5444.

Carpet Cleaning and Floor
Waxing Common Areas

  • Once every 24 months
  • Spray Buffing - Every 12 months

Classroom Cleaning
  • 5 times per week trash pick up
  • 1 time per week cleaning

Clinic/Exam Room Cleaning
  • 3 times per week trash pick up
  • 1 time per week cleaning

Common Area Cleaning
  • 1 time per week
  • Trash pick up – daily, Monday to Friday

Computer Lab Cleaning
  • Trash Removal – 3 times per week
  • Sweep/Mop/Vacuum – 1 time per week

Conference Room Cleaning
  • Trash Removal – 1 time per week
  • Mop/Vacuum – 1 time per week

Kitchen Cleaning
  • 3 times per week trash pick up
  • 1 time per week cleaning

Laboratory Cleaning

Office Cleaning
  • Trash Removal Mop/Vacuum – 1 time per week
  • Recycling – 1 time per week

Restroom Cleaning
  • Daily, Monday through Friday

Stairwell Cleaning
  • Monthly

 

Standard Infection Control Practices in State Supported Spaces

Routine cleaning includes:

  • Cleaning frequently touched surfaces that are touched by many different people, light switches; handrails, elevator buttons and door handles
  • Dusting and wet mopping or auto scrubbing hard surface floors
  • Vacuuming entry ways and high traffic areas
  • Removing trash
  • Cleaning rest rooms
  • Cleaning spills

Facilites Management takes pride in sustaining the daily operation, repair, and maintenance of UCI buildings and grounds. We also partner with our campus customers to accomplish alterations, improvements, and renovations of physical facilities.
