Carpentry

Carpenter shop provides many services on campus related to woodworking, millwork, drywall, cabinets, countertops, and furniture. Services provided include:

• Alterations including building or taking down walls, moving or adding doors, and installing drop ceilings
• Baseboard repair
• Computer workstation keyboard tray installation, repair, and replacement
• Cabinet drawer and door repair, casework refinishing, countertop refinishing, and shelving units installation or repair
• Custom built bookcases and tables
• Door repairs, such as door hinges, stops, sweeps, and thresholds
• Drywall patching in common areas
• Earthquake restraints: shelves, cabinets, gas cylinders, bookshelves, file cabinets, freezers, or other furniture or equipment
• Furniture finishing, touch up, and repair
• Installation of bulletin boards, whiteboards, chalkboards, picture frames, and mounts for flat screen TV
• Modular furniture and partitions systems configuration and installation and/or repair
• Restroom partitions
• Shelving units
• Sound board for soundproofing spaces
• Vinyl floor additions
• Wooden decks, handrails, and steps repair and replacement
